anniversary
I will try to keep this short and sweet...I am approaching the 2 year anniversary of my Husband being killed by the piece of shit that ran him down on the highway. I am still fucked up over the whole thing, but I didnt come here to whine or rant, I just wanted to thank everyone for their kindness and support over the last two years.
I found Bikernews while I was searching for articals on the death of my Husband, and they were hard to come by. It seemed like to the rest of the world my man was just another dead biker. End of story. But when I came to Bikernews, I finally found a place where other people, people who didnt even know him, were as outraged as I was. I stuck around because I found kindred spirits who could relate to the loss I was dealing with, I keep coming back because I feel like I need this to hang onto. So many people keep telling me to move on, get over it, it was just a terrible accident, to you all its more than that.
Then theres the entertainment factor...there's some good shit goin around on this site..lol, and to tell you the truth, I could really use a good laugh sometimes...
so if you are reading this and you are one of the folks that have shown me kindness, respect and compassion, You have my respect and eternal gratefullness.......blush
- Hey Blush...hope yer findin sum peace & happiness hon....take care of yerself.......FF
- Sorry to hear about your pain. There are good people here. Glad you stayed. It is good to have people who can help you bare the weight. Your man will live through you.
- Blush..I am glad you have stuck around...We need more stand up women who don't take any shit around here. Your ol man would be proud. Take care and if there is ever anything I can do shoot me a kite.
- My condolences, though i dont know you or your husband, i know the loss of loved ones well. it is a tough road to travel but in time it will become easier. it is truly tragic that your husband as well many others have fallen because people do not pay attention. as it has been mentioned it would be nice t osee some of these people charged adaquatly not only to give a sense of justice to the familys of those lost but to serve as a reminder for others to notice us on the road with them too.
- Psycho69, I am so sorry for your tragic loss. I`m sure that as his wife , you should have gotten the pamplets with groups that you can relate to. I wish you luck, and stay busy.....
